‘Cumbria’ is ‘The Fairisle Queen’ – Marie Wallin’s new book will be a fabulous edition to your knitting Library!

This wonderfully photographed collection  contains 11 beautiful pieces for Women and Men in an updated inclusive size range. All the flat knitted designs can be knitted in the round with the addition of steek stitches where the side and armhole seams would be. To compliment the range there are 6 gorgeous new shades of British Breed yarn.

With 7 sizes S – 3XL for Women and 8 sizes XS – 3XL for Men, this collection of 6 styles for Women, 3 styles for Men and 2 Accessories designs were inspired by Eastern European folk art, Far East textile and carpet design along with mixtures of more traditional motifs. The plain textured stitch designs are also inspired by traditional twisted stitches and cables.

The beautiful scenery of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park is the backdrop for the magnificent ‘Cumbria’
